Benefits
It allows a breathable and semi-permeable protection, being permeable to moisture vapor, but impermeable to water, which limits the risk of external contamination.
It promotes healing in contact with wound exudates, thanks to its woolly-colloid gauze that forms a gel, promoting a favorable environment for the healing of the burn or wound in a healthy environment. It relieves pain quickly and its removal is painless, as it does not adhere to the wound.
Therapeutic indications
Burns of 1st degree and 2nd degree;
Wounds.
How to apply
In the case of a superficial 2nd degree burn: place the lesion under cold water for 15 minutes to limit the spread of the burn.
In all other cases: Clean the wound with an antisepticwithout alcohol, rinse with water or saline solution. In case of burn, never use colored antisepticsbased on eosin. Carefullydry the wound with a compress. Whenever possible, leave the blister intact as it protects against infection. Do not remove dry skin if it does not fall out naturally. Remove the protective coating from the dressing and apply the area to be treated. Do not use any cream before application.
The normal treatment period is 5 to 6 days. Change the first dressing after 24 hours and after that every 48 hours.
