Benefits
The formula contains hazelnut oil, a powerful source of vitamin A, E, B vitamins and linoleic acid, which acts to nourish the hair and antioxidise it.

How to apply
Before Relaxing: carefully read the instructions and warnings on the label attached to the box. Make sure you have everything you need before starting the relaxing process. The full instructions for use are contained in the explanatory leaflet that comes with the product. Incorrect use can damage the hair. Wear gloves throughout the process of applying the relaxing/softening cream and do not wash your hair for at least 3 days before the procedure.

IMPORTANT: anyone should protect their hairline and ears, as these are more delicate areas that can easily become irritated. If you have a sensitive scalp, you can also apply a light layer of Vaseline directly to the scalp before relaxing the hair. The total application and smoothing time must not exceed the maximum time indicated in the table. Excessive processing can cause serious damage to the hair. The table does not apply when the relaxer is applied only to the sideburns. This kit is not intended to be applied locally to straight, wavy, braided or extended hair.

PRECAUTIONS: Do not shampoo your hair immediately before applying the relaxer. After removing braids or extensions, wait 2 weeks before applying the relaxer. Avoid using straightening irons during the relaxing process. Do not comb or brush your hair vigorously before applying the relaxer. Make sure you haven't scratched your scalp before applying the relaxer. Do not apply the relaxer if the scalp is irritated or inflamed. Minimise the overlap of relaxer on previously relaxed hair. Smooth the hair with the back of a comb or your fingers. Leave a gap of 6 to 8 weeks between relaxer applications. Do not drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks before the procedure to avoid irritation. Ensure that the relaxer does not come into contact with the scalp or surrounding areas. If the relaxer does come into contact with the skin, wipe it off with a damp cloth. Examine the scalp and postpone application if it is irritated or sore. Do not apply relaxer to brittle or damaged hair. Avoid anti-dandruff shampoos for at least 2 weeks before relaxing hair. Wait 2 weeks after removing braids or extensions before applying relaxer. If you have coloured your hair, wait 2 weeks before relaxing. If the scalp is perspiring, use a cool-air dryer before applying the relaxer. Use the mixture of relaxant and activator within one day. Do not store leftovers. Do not relax and colour on the same day. Wait at least 2 weeks between relaxing and colouring. Do not use on hair treated with Ammonium Thioglycolate (perms) or Sodium Hydroxide.

Strand Test: this is important to check the ideal action time for your hair type, as well as to assess whether it is in ideal condition for relaxing.

What you will need: A plastic wide-tooth comb or application brush, a timer, a towel, Vaseline (to use as a protective base) and Salon Line Neutralising Shampoo, which is essential for removing all residue.

Before starting the process, divide the hair in half into four sections - two at the back and two at the front. Apply Vaseline to the neck, ears, around the face, hairline and scalp to avoid possible reactions. If retouching, also apply to the length of the hair. Put on gloves. Follow the application steps below without skipping any:

1. Preparing the mixture: do not use metal materials. Always use plastic materials (comb and spatulas).

2. Application: start relaxing from the back, strand by strand, applying generously with a brush. Cover all the hair as quickly as possible to ensure complete coverage. After applying the relaxing cream, use the palm of your hand to smooth the areas of application, always in the direction of the strands and never the other way round, to prevent the strands from breaking. Apply the relaxer in areas. On virgin hair, gently smooth 0.5 cm from root to tip. Do not pull or stretch the hair! To obtain an even distribution, handle the hair lightly with your hands and use the last few minutes of the relaxing time to massage the hair and check if any areas have run out of product. Consult the table below to check the relaxation time. As mentioned above, the total application and smoothing time must not exceed the maximum time indicated in the table.

Time table:
Fine Texture: 10-12 minutes.
Medium Texture: 13-15 minutes.
Resistant Texture: 15-18 minutes.

3. Rinse and Neutralise: start by rinsing the back of the hair thoroughly with plenty of warm or room temperature water. Apply Salon Line Neutralising Shampoo, which is essential for completely removing residue.

4. Conditioning and Finalising: apply the conditioner of your choice. Distribute the product evenly throughout the hair and leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse and finish as desired.

Tip: the ideal is to carry out a daily treatment with the Salon Line line using Shampoo, Mask and Conditioner so that the hair is even stronger.
