Contains Ginger, Burdock, Plant Sterols, Monacolin K, Vitamin C and Vitamins B6, B2, B1, B12 and Folic Acid.
Benefits
Plant sterols: Plant sterols are substances structurally similar to cholesterol, which are only naturally present in products of plant origin. Since they are structurally similar to cholesterol, they will be absorbed instead.
Monacolin K: Monacolin K is a secondary compound that results from the fermentation process of red rice and contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood.
B vitamins: Vitamins B6, B9 and B12 contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine. Increased levels of homocysteine predispose to a greater risk of cardiovascular problems.
How to take
1 tablet a day.
Composition
Plant Sterols - 250 mg, Concentrated Dry Extract of Zingiber officinale, Ginger - 100 mg, Monascus purpureus (fermented red rice) - 72.5 mg, Equiv. of Monacolin K - 2.9 mg, Vitamin C - 40 mg (50% NRV), Concentrated Dry Extract of Arctium lappa, Burdock - 12.5 mg, Vitamin B6 - 1.4 mg (100% NRV), Vitamin B2 - 1.4 mg (100% NRV), Vitamin B1 - 1.1 mg (100% NRV), Folic Acid - 200 µg (100% NRV), Vitamin B12 2.5 µg (100% NRV). *RNV - Nutrient Reference Value.
Precautions
Due to the presence of monacolin K this product is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and adults over 70 and people taking cholesterol-lowering medication or other products containing red yeast rice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of 3 g per day of added plant sterols.
